Molly is a 5-year-old, female, 95+ pound, spayed, German Shepherd mix. Molly was given to us 8/31 for re-homing because her previous owner kept abandoning and neglecting her over the past few months. Molly is currently living with us at a home in Nashville. We have gotten her up to date on shots and treated her for a nasty ear infection she had when she came home with us. She seems so much happier now! While we love Molly, we cannot keep her forever because we already have three dogs, and our lease does not allow her breed. We need help finding her a permanent home or least a foster family. We just want to give her a chance to receive all love and care she deserves. Molly loves humans (adults, teens, and children). She likes to play fetch, go for walks, and 'chase' water from a hose, but is very calm and low-maintenance (she loves to nap and just 'hang out'). She loves car rides, is house-trained and leash-trained, and knows a variety of commands (stay, sit, shake, lay-down, come, fetch, and go). She is very loving and devoted to 'her person' - she would be a fantastic companion dog. Molly would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet. Someone with knowledge of her breed would be a plus - after all, everyone loves being understood! She would also benefit from someone who has experience with tendencies toward resource guarding. Molly will go home with vet records, food bowls and food, crate, collar/leash/harness, toys, bones, behavior medication (Prozac), flea/tick prevention, continued support from her current foster family, and a lot of love to give her new family!
