About Happy

Happy is a 3-yr old yorkie/chihuahua mix that weighs 6 lbs. He was surrendered to the shelter for a bite incident with a child. It seems as soon as he arrived in his new home, two young children descended on him, wanting to pick him up and start play right away. No one thought to give him time to adjust to his new people and surroundings. His current Foster planned to ignore him, give him lots of space, along with time to decompress and go slowly at the pace he would need during the 'getting to you' phase. However, upon his arrival, he turned out to be one of the friendliest, most loving, sweetest, charming and amusing pups ever! He is house trained, walks nicely on leash, gets along beautifully with the other little dogs in the house, seems to love treats of raw carrot and green beans. He does not understand the cat in the house and just wants to chase so we definitely say NO cats and NO children. Happy is up-to-date on shots, neutered and microchipped.
