About Juniper

Juniper was initially rescued by me in 2018. She was a trap, neuter, return feral cat until she was put into the shelter. She has an extremely kind heart, but suffers from anxiety so sometimes that be translated into aggression. She is not good with cats but can tolerate dogs as long as they are not high energy. She is pretty good with people--she just likes her personal space to be respected. That being said, once she comes to trust you she has so much love to give. Juniper loves to cuddle and basically just sleeps all day. Juniper's ideal day would be filled with good wet food, a soft blanket to relax on, and lots of cuddles. Juniper is overweight (18 lbs) and because of this she has a very difficult time fully cleaning herself. For her own comfort and hygiene Juniper has to have her bum wiped at least once a day which is a fairly painless process. All she needs is a treat and she'll handle it well. I've had the pleasure of spending my days with the lovely Juniper for 5 years now, but as a recently graduated college student I simply cannot afford her medical and grooming care. Juniper needs a person to love her and give her the quality of care she deserves. She is such a wonderful cat and ultimately I am looking for anybody willing to put in the time and effort into creating a safe space for Juniper.
