Hi, there! My name is Josie and I'm a gorgeous, 6 year old, English Lab. I know how to sit, shake hands and lie down and have good house manners! I am nervous by nature and need a quiet adult only home without kids and other dogs. I'll be most successful with an experienced dog owner who is willing to work with me. This is my last chance to find my happy ending so ask about me NOW! A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Josie, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
