8 month old mixed breed male. Sweet and a little goofy. Dog is from a cross breeding program in NC and is a quarter kangal, a quarter Karelian Bear Dog, a quarter American lion hound, and remainder is Irish wolf hound and Malamute. Raised with other dogs, can be bossy so needs supervision but has not been aggressive. Plays well with his peers. Likes to go on hikes and stays with his person. Needs a person of his own. Looking for active owner who is committed to basic obedience training. Hiker preferred, perhaps a biker. This dog has plenty of leg and can travel, also likes to stay busy and needs regular exercise. High food drive. Will chase cats but not aggressively. Has mostly been outside, does not toilet in the house when he's inside for short periods. Crate trained. Very sweet dog with a soft coat and loves to be petted. Will be neutered before placement. Placement will not be first come first serve and there will be a contract (similar to shelter adoption). Looking for a great fit or he stays where he is but will be a great dog for an active person. He is a tall dog and still growing. Located in Helena area.
