Kirby is a friendly, handsome and loving, four-year-old, 95-pound, male black and white labrador-mix looking for a loving guardian. This jumbo fellow was found stray in Quincy, Illinois. His humans never came to retrieve him, so he was transported to Friends of Petraits Rescue in Chicago to find the home of his dreams. He's phenomenal in the home, quiet, snuggly, gives kisses, perfectly housebroken and non-destructive. No crate needed and he doesn't get on furniture. However, he needs a little work on his leash manners %BD'%BD| he barks at other dogs, people, cars, trucks and bicycles. When he actually gets to meet those people and dogs, he's friendly. He's working with a trainer and a session with the trainer is included with his adoption. He is obese, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Kirby please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-cat-adoption-application/ and contact [email protected] for an appointment to meet him.
