About Buck (Kennewick WA)

If 2-year-old, yellow lab mix Buck had any other name, it would be 'Tigger'. Like Tigger, Buck has a top that's made out of rubber, a bottom that's made out of springs, and he's bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, full of fun, fun, fun! Buck has been through the ringer since the passing of his owner. He misses the company of the two other large dogs he grew up with, and he has been couped up in a series of shelters, veterinary kennels, and boarding kennels for months on end. This boy needs a home to call his own with another large, playful dog to keep him company and play with. Buck is a rough and tumble player, but he is also submissive when his playmates tell him he's getting a little to wild for them. He was house trained in his previous home, but he may need a little refresher since he's been kenneled for an extended period. Buck LOVES people, and would make a wonderful addition to an active family with adequate space to let him run. His previous owner's illness left little time for training, and Buck would blossom with some training on leash walking and would likely make an excellent dog-sport dog. If ever a dog embodied the concept of living in the moment, it's darling Buck. He wants to please and be loved, and he needs to catch a break.
