About Gia

**PLEASE READ GIA'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING** THANK YOU This is Gia who is our absolutely beautiful 5 year old, female Terrier mix (the vet says with some Shih Tzu) who is about 18lbs. Once Gia warms up to you, she is an absolute doll! She has the best personality and loves everyone she meets! Gia is a dog that needs time to warm up to a new dog, and we do see that she does best with dogs her size or smaller, and particularly male dogs. She definitely needs another dog in the home, and cannot be an 'only' dog. If you do not have another dog and are considering two, she can be adopted with her best friend, Michi, who is a 3 year old, female MinPin mix. Gia is a bark talker which is the terrier in her. She loves to tell you when she's hungry, when she wants your attention, etc, so if you live in a quiet apt/condo complex, it would not work out. We are looking for a home that will be patient and kind with her as she transitions into her new home. She will come scared, but if you give her the time she needs, she will blossom and open up more each day. Gia is one happy and loving girl who needs a forever home that will give her the love she deserves! WE ONLY ADOPT IN LOS ANGELES AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS AN IN PERSON HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED. Gia is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed.
