About Simon

Say hello to Simon. He is a 10-year-old rescue who is very affectionate. He sleeps most of the day, but he will demand your attention around breakfast and dinner time. Simon's favorite place to sit is on people's laps, whether they be on the couch or at the dinner table. He is not declawed so he can roam around outside. He loves to bathe in the sun. We inherited Simon from a family member that could no longer care for him. We hoped that he could bond with our current cat (a Maine Coon named Pleush), but after a few months, it's clear that they are not getting along. Simon will attack her when she is trying to use the litter box, resulting in some accidents. Pleush is ordinarily very energetic and affectionate, but her demeanor changes when Simon is around. We are hoping to find Simon a new home where he is the only pet in the house and has plenty of room to stretch his legs. We can set up a foster situation for 3-10 days to make sure he is the right fit.
