About Ozzy

Ozzy is the most loving fur baby. He's 3.5yrs. old. It is killing me needing to do this. He is more than I have health issues due to a car accident that are permanent and at times he knocks me down being a bulldog, running into me- past me, etc. However, do to my health I can't keep up with him bc he's bc too much for me. He needs much more than He needs someone who can give-walks and outdoor playing (short periods bc of heat or cold). I can't imagine life without him but, I also don't think I'm giving him what he needs- including formal training. He can be pig headed when he wants something so he gets time out. He doesn't like vacuums- he likes to eat them-brooms are o.k. if you don't have another instigator-just tell him no. He loves car rides and treats. I always make frozen treats of PB or Coconut Oil or a combo, then Pure pumpkin for digestive issues that might arise. Summertime, he loves watermelon frozen slushies. I put in ice cubes as treats. He loves almost all food but, brocolli. He can not eat chicken, anything with red pumice or grains- all of these makes his folds 10x nastier and allergies worse. Food he is on and prior foods has had his allergies good and under control majority of the time. lol He is on a Prescription Low Fat diet and has lost almost 17# since he started playing with his new ball-because after he was neutered he became very lazy-we had to push him out the door just to go to the bathroom. NOW, he loves playing with the ball. He hogs it from my daughters boxer. He thinks he's a lap dog and loves to snuggle with you at bedtime- usually at your neck or at crook of your knee. I will not let him go to just any home- A thorough check needs to be done with references. Adoption fee covers to protect him and things we have done- neutering, vacs. including kennel cough bc we travel, his extra large crate and misc. items including his ball. I WOULD not be rehoming if I didn't have a car accident a few years ago and has caused many issues including continued surg. He loves to be under foot-which this can be a big prob. at times- it caused a delay in healing of ankle bc I fell. Basically, HE LOVES TO BE WHERE YOU ARE ALLLLLL THE TIME-HE WILL LOVE YOU TO PIECES. lol My husband tries to kiss me and he will wall right in between our legs to block him from getting close and look up 'that's enough'... lol I have TONS of pics to share. I would love to be able to keep in contact with the person to see how he is doing. BTW he is tic tok famous. lol He is quite the character! You will have such a baby doll . The thought of him not being around kills me but, I'm thinking of his future. HE needs someone who is familiar with bulldogs and has lots of time and money because both are needed for their love and care. The adoption fee is to offset the his monthly preventives meds. and ER visit that I just had bc of reaction to furminator at Petsmart. He is on preventives monthly too (fleas, heartworms, allergy) I will have an application with questions and will do a check with your veteranarian.Please don't just send me a message saying you'll take him because I'm not just going to hand him over. HE HAS ONLY had a brief perod of training and DOES NEED TRAINED if you want a bulldog that listens to you...lol JUST LEARNED he HATES fire alarms and couldn't tell if he was trying to get me out of the house or get in my lap. I learned NOT to go near the noise with him by me because it's like a VACUUM Cleaner- he wants to attack the wall- the towel and anything else. He hasn't been around cats since he was less than a year old- can't tell you how he would do. He's great with my grand kids but, unless you get him professionally trained I would introduce slowly even though he's perfect with every little one he goes near-he does not like loud noises and I'd hate for them to startle him and him to jump on them. Being as honest as I can be. My grand kids sleep with him! That's how much they love each other and they are 6 & 9 but, they have been around his whole life. He has become not to like his crate any longer and at times likes to let you know verbally- he's been known to get out of his cage ; he dislikes it so much. I had him up before thinking we had a match but, they wanted a smaller bulldog. He's 61.5#...Perfect according to our vet. He's a handsome guy. If interested I have a application to fill out. I won't let him go just to anyone. I'm being very picky. He has started hating his cage which -is not necessary but, we put my daughters boxer in a cage so we put him in one as well. Lately, we leave him out bc he has shown his distaste for it. The vet calls it cage aggression. He does wonderful with kids but, I think because he's such a jealous dog it would be best to have someone without small kids. If interested, please send me a message or a TEXT.
