About Danja

I rescued Danja (Dane-Juh) myself a year ago when a friend posted on Facebook that she'd found a stray. She was taken to the vet where they confirmed she was deaf and had more than likely suffered some abuse. I took her in and my year with her has been mostly amazing. She's sweet, understands commands/hand signals and is a wonderful, indoor companion. The only issue I've had with her is her need to chew on absolutely everything. Also, she loves to eat socks. She's been around two other dogs (another pit Bull and a German Shepherd) as well as my child. No bad behavior either the pets or my child. I am needing to rehome her because of my job. I am military and preparing for a year long deployment and I have no friends or family that are willing to take her in for that length of time. Danja deserves the best: a loving home, and someone willing to give her the extra time and attention she needs considering her disability.
