About Leeroy

I am having to relocate my family due to work and I am unable to take my beloved Leeroy with me. I was wondering if there was room at your shelter for him? He is an amazing dog! I found him as a stray and he has been with me for about four years now. He is great with kids, including infants. He has not been with other dogs since he is my only one, but when we go to the vet he seems to be eager to play and not aggressive at all. He also did play with my father's dog great. He has a wonderful temperament and loves attention. There is one thing I should mention, he does have allergies and is on Apoquel medication daily. If there were any way at all I could take him with me I would not be asking, he is a great companion and it pains me to have to let him go. However, I do not want him to go to the pound, for fear he will be put down and not given a chance. Please let me know if you can help, or can point me in the direction of someone who may be able to!
