Meet Roxie To every potential adopter who keeps overlooking me ! My name is Roxy and I'm a 5 year old American bulldog mix who was surrendered at Animal Control where I would have been euthanized. Fortunately I got pulled by my rescue and they sent me a foster Mama who is absolutely in love with me. She says she is so impressed by my love for children of all sizes, dogs of all sexes, and my ability to just be happy in any situation . But why does nobody want to adopt me then ? I am up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, house trained, and kennel trained. Matter of fact I love my own little space in my kennel where I like to sit when raining , taking a break, or waiting for my dinner. Unfortunately I am heartworm positive but that does not bother me a bit. I had my antibiotics and all I need is a heartworm prevention once a month. I love to jump and play , it does not matter if it's kids or other dogs , best is all of them , and I'm also a big fan of squeaky toys. But whenever my foster family has to go or is busy I also like to go in my crate and I quietly sit there and enjoy the peace.
