We find ourselves in the position of needing to give up one of our dogs to rescue.�%A0�%A0 We have Opie a 5 year old Boxer Pit mix and Tucker Jane a 2 year old blue nose pit.�%A0 They have fought on and off the last year.�%A0 Opie is neutered.�%A0 Tucks is spayed.�%A0 They have separate crates, feeding, and have had more than $1,000 of professional training.�%A0 �%A0Still the switch flips and they fight.�%A0�%A0 Last night they fought and she nearly killed Opie.�%A0 We just spent another $1,500 at the ER vet getting drains and stitches.�%A0 We need to rehome her.�%A0 We will keep Opie and get all his medical taken care of.�%A0 She is about 65 lbs. of love and snuggles and 95% of the time they snuggle together.�%A0 She is not aggressive at all to people.�%A0 Loves men, women, and children.�%A0 She is bad with some dogs. We can't afford to keep trying to figure out why they fight.�%A0 Sometimes we have a pretty good guess why and other times, like last night, no clue.�%A0 We have had multiple injuries ourselves from breaking up their fights as well as stacks of vet bills.�%A0�%A0 Tucker Jane is the very sweetest baby hippo you've ever met.�%A0 She is a crazy licker and sucks on blankets.�%A0 Will play fetch until you arm falls off.�%A0 She sleeps with us and is a blanket hog.�%A0 She knows a lot of commands and we are still working on keeping her from jumping on us when we get home.�%A0 �%A0She's gorgeous and has a little feminine head.�%A0 Soft as velvet coat and a few scars from fighting her brother.�%A0 What we'd like is for you to help us by placing her in a pit loving home with no other dogs.�%A0 I can be reached with questions at 801-678-0187.�%A0 Or [email protected]�%A0 Thank you very much.�%A0 We hope to hear from you soon.�%A0 We are bringing Opie home from the vet this morning.
