About Chester

This cute guy is Chester, a 7 year old Australian Cattledog mix who weighs about 55 pounds. He had a nice double mask and a long, Cattledog style tail. Chester is absolute best friend material. He is a loyal and fun. Chester knows his commands: sit, wait, come, lay down, night night. He is house trained and has been crated a few times. Chester is a social guy who has been good with all of the people, adults and kids, that he has met. Chester has been good with other dogs his size and larger. He isn't great with small dogs. He can live with another polite dog, as long as his tendency to not share food and treats is managed. Chester loves to run errands with his person. When a car door is opened, he automatically hops right in. He likes to stick his head out of the car window. He also loves walks and hikes. He does get excited and can pull on the leash sometimes. Chester is also a fantastic beach pal who enjoys running alongside his person who is on a longboard. He just wants to go have fun! Chester's ideal home has someone home more than not, or takes him to work. He would love a home with a yard and an active family. He also appreciates someone who gets him a Puppacino from Starbucks from time to time! Chester is definitely best friend material. Chester is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is ready to meet potential adopters who are able to meet and adopt in Simi Valley, CA. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
