Like many seniors, Classie feels alone and disconnected. He desperately wants to be in a home, getting lots of attention. At 13 years old, Classie made the drive to Chicago all the way from Texas, when his guardian was terminally ill with pancreatic cancer. All his mom wanted to know was that Classie would be safe. None of her children wanted Classie and this brought upon her great stress, and she didn't know what to do. Classie is a very beautiful boy. He enjoys short walks, and bully sticks are his guilty pleasure. Classie would be okay as an only dog, or joining a growing fur family, with another canine of a similar size. Classie is very heartbroken, so he will need someone special to see him through for the rest of his golden years. If you think you have space in your home and room in your family to welcome Classie, please submit an application.
