About Tito

'Handsome Tito is looking for his special forever home. Tito is one of the most loving 2 year old GSDs you will ever meet. He is loving of both dogs small and large, and of people. Tito was hit by a car before we rescued him and unfortunately he had to have one of his eyes removed. Tito also has a genetic condition which will eventually cause him to go completely blind in his remaining eye. He has been seen and treated by an ophthalmology specialist and his eventual blindness is inevitable. He is still partially sighted in his right eye and his condition doesn't doesn't slow him down a bit. Tito is fun, outgoing and loves to play and run like the wind. Tito is looking for a special forever home where his people will help him learn to navigate new areas and have a fenced yard to keep him safe. He lived with a smaller dog prior to rescue. Tito is really a sweet boy who, with just a little training, will adapt to new surroundings and be a wonderful companion. We recommend RexSpecs or 'doggles' for his eye protection long term to keep branches and foliage from scratching his eye when he is out for walks and periodic vet appointments to check his ocular pressure.
