About Marshall

'Man About Town' Marshall was a frequent sight in a neighborhood as he went around chatting it up with all their dogs looking for a lady. None of the residents knew who owned him but were concerned about his safety. This scruffy little Romeo's days of wandering came to an end once he was brought to our shelter. He spent the past two weeks with a foster family until we had an open kennel. Marshall is a cute feisty wirehaired Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix estimated to be around two years old. He only weighs eleven pounds but has a 'big dog' personality. Marshall is your typical bossy terrier full of spunk and best suited for an adult or family with children over five. He does best around calm submissive dogs that don't challenge him. He barks at strangers but is quick to wag his tail once he knows they mean no harm. A playful energetic pup, this boy loves playing fetch. Marshall is housebroken if crated when you are away. Marshall did try to mark at this foster home but that was before he was neutered. This undesired behavior should improve now that his hormones are in check. He will need a fenced in yard to keep him from wandering.
