About Keyra

Keyra is a very smart and loving dog that gets along great with her human family. She knows her basic commands eagerly will show them off in order to get a treat. She also likes exploring the outdoors and she seems to prefer it over being inside. She will lay on the couch with the rest of the family and chew a bone while we watch movies. When it is cold or snowy outside, you will have a hard time trying to get her to come in. She is 8 years old, spayed, and will be UTD on shots before leaving. She is skittish around strangers at first until she warms up to them.. She has a dominant personality and she did fine with our other submissive female dog that was around 13lbs but is having issues with our larger male dog that also has a dominant personality. She will probably do the best as the only dog in the home or with another submissive dog. She will need an experienced handler that can teach her the rules. As with most wolves, she is an escape artist and will need a VERY secure yard. She is not good with small animals such as cats and chickens as she has a strong prey drive.
