About Finn

We are having to rehome our very loyal lovebug, Finn, who is (around) 7 yr old and a pit/vizsla/lab?? mix. If you love dogs, chances are he won't leave your side, and will give you lots of doggie kisses. He's great as your adventure sidekick, or binge watching snuggle pal. He loves the water, I've even had him on my paddle board in the ocean, he's great in our pop up camper, and gets excited for car rides. He's very soft, easy to maintain with his short hair, and easy to bathe. He loves to talk to you and resembles a vizsla in that way. He gets along with cats and some dogs. He gets along with our other dogs about 90% of the time. He's started to pick a fight with my younger dog, so I would suggest a meet up first if you have other pets. He is not the aggressor, but must be giving off a vibe to my other male. He is fine around livestock. He's been introduced to cows and goats. Also, he doesn't like little kids messing with his face. He has snapped at a 12 mo old (no contact was made) who he lived with briefly. But the young kid didn't understand boundaries. I would recommend your kids, if you have them, be old enough to understand boundaries around an animal. He was food aggressive when we first adopted him years ago. With work, he dropped that. However, he's picked it back up recently, unsure why. He's great on a leash and can be trusted offleash. Completely house trained. No furniture chewing and no table surfing. He also does fine in a crate. He does get nervous with fireworks and thunder. He shakes or goes under the bed. Please feel free to ask any questions!! He's a love bug and deserves a happy home.
