About Army von Arzberg

Army von Arzberg is a very handsome 4 year old Shepherd mix (male) who is more than ready to go home with you. My name is Army, I'm the longest resident at Westside, but keep reading, don't be afraid! I have turned over a new leaf, I just need a certain kind of home, my last homes just had too much chaos for me. I came to Westside with the name Army and it suits me. I like order and structure, otherwise I get nervous. Because I like a calmer home life, I prefer one without kids, cats and small dogs. I have been living with a trainer for the last two weeks, and he and his wife have nothing but good things to say about me. They have their own dogs and I'm fine with that, however I tend to be a bit bossy so it's best that I am your one and only. I'm good on the leash, know some commands like sit, down, come and go. My guarding seems to be a thing of the past. I love my crate with the door left open so I can retreat in there when I need a little break. I like to follow my humans around and sleep by their feet. Sometimes my puppy side comes out and I get the zoomies, running back and forth in the house, but then I switch back to adulthood and chill again. I'm long housebroken and good in the house. When I am at the rescue, some of the volunteers take me out for the day and we go hiking and have so much fun, but then I have to go back to the kennel again. :-( I go to Urban Training every Saturday to keep my obedience skills sharp, and I'm very good at it if I say so myself. I'm really trying very hard to be a model citizen. Would anyone give me a chance at a forever home? You should come meet me and my buddies, and my trainer so you can understand me.
