About various

Jack Russell
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Beautiful group of pure bred jack russells both smooth and rough coats that need to be fostered or rehomed with the right to visitation. We do not have the time they need to properly train or exercise them and they have behaviors that are not compatible with our living environment. For example, they steal everything and chew it up which has costed a lot of money. And they jump on the dining room table and sometimes they fight with eachother for our attention. They also have not been socialized with dogs and people so we cant have anybody over without them going nutso. And sometimes they escape out the front door and run around the block until they are tired and sit at the front door to be let back in. Animal control said that their escapes made them k-9's at large which makes them sound like criminals. They are otherwise very loving, affectionate, happy, excitable, funny, and very personable and emotionally sensitive. You cannot physically discipline them because they are too smart and take that behavior way too personal so they have pottie training issues as well. They sleep in a pack under the covers in our bed and were originally bought (the mother and father) to be therapy dogs for my husband who has a severe brain injury. Then they had a litter of nine pups without our permission and we gave away most of the pups but kept three. So they are a family. They are incredibly intuitive and will tell you when your getting sick or when my husband is at risk of having a seizure or stops breathing when he sleeps. But they also bark ALOT. And our neighbors have caused us substantial stress about the barking. We use a spray bottle with water in it to discipline them and for the most part it worked for a long time but now when we spray them they just hunker down and run into the water very defiant. They also steal the water bottle and chew it up so we cant use it. we want them to have the best life they can have and think a more educated family with time to train and spend time with them will provide them more happiness and a better quality of life however, we are very attached to them and want visitation rights.
