About Birdie

Birdie is a very sweet girl from a shelter in N. Florida. She has the face of a lab and the body of a bassett hound. And the sweetest personality. She is approx 3-5 yrs old. She is quiet altho she will let you know when someone is at the door. Loving low energy. Crate trained and house broken. Leash work could be better but she does okay and is very motivated to treats. She is good in the car and loads up in a crate. Eats in a crate. Sleeps on the bed (horrors!!!). She does like to play with toys but in not toy motivated. Great with all people. Great with other dogs. She is getting over flea allergies and her hair is filling in nicely. She has been used for breeding and since the spay her mammaries are shrinking back. They will probably never by normal but they wont hit the ground. Over all this is a great girl, for an older couple. She is a dog that will be happy with long walks, rides in the car, an occasional game of ball. She does like to play with other dogs but is not over the top playplay play. Birdie has been spayed, vaccinated chipped. Great girl and an easy keeper. Located in Bradenton
