About BREWSTER

'BREWSTER' is a 20 month old, 60-65 lb. Labrador Retriever mix male we rescued from a very high kill pound (we literally had them walk back to the 'euth room' to get him so we could save his life ... it was that close!). Brewster is a charmer! A winning personality, and such a happy, nice boy. Brewster had suffered neglect and was underweight, but we've been getting him on the road to wellness and putting pounds on him with great groceries! Brewster has not been cat-tested nor been around young children, so we can't say how he would be with either. Brewster is not neutered, and we would recommend a few months more prior to neutering so he can be in the most robust in health for the surgery. Brewster is fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
