About Henbit

Adoption Fee: $35
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

'Hiya! Fun-loving, playful kitty waiting for you at your local shelter... will you surprise her with a forever home? That kitty is me, Henbit. I am a 2 year old month old kitten that originally came to SVASC as part of a large colony of cats that was trapped and removed from my home. Pretty scary stuff. I was adopted and recently returned to SVASC due to a change in living situations with my family. During my first stay at SVASC, I was far from the friendliest kitty and actually liked to act pretty feral. I calmed down a good bit after a few months of being at the shelter and got friendly enough for indoor living. I am relatively slow to warm up and do take some real time to come around with new people. I would do best in a calmer home without a lot of hustle and bustle. Once I'm used to you, I am your typical, playful young cat. On top of being playful, I am ridiculously adorable and definitely someone that you want to wake up next to. I get along really well with other kitties. Don't forget that I used to be part of a big colony of community cats. In my previous home, I lived with one other friend and honestly... it was pretty great. I would really like to go to a home with at least one other kitty. I would love a calmer home without younger kids, but I should do okay with older kiddos. My adoption fee is $35 to an approved adopter. If you would like more information on me, please give SVASC a call at (540) 943-5142 or stop by the shelter during open hours. SVASC is located at 1001 Mt. Torrey Rd. Lyndhurst, VA.'
