'Hey there, my name is Indi and I would love to find myself one of that fancy schmancy forever homes that I keep hearing so much about! What do you think about taking a gorgeous, loving gal like me home with you? I am a 5-6 year old Mixed Breed (maybe Border Collie/Akita or Shepherd?) that came to SVASC because I was just not a great fit for my previous home. See, they had kiddos and while I mostly did okay with them, I do really enjoy my personal space. I am a low energy, couch potato and would be a great companion for someone who is looking for a pretty lowkey buddy. I don't mind if we trade in morning jogs for a few extra minutes of sleep, if you catch my drift. I am perfectly content spending most of my day lounging around and snoozing away. That being said, I do love to go for walks and am probably the perfect walking companion; I am very easy on the leash and almost never pull. I have lived with other dogs in the past, but let's just say that that wasn't really for me. I would do best in a home without other pets, but I am open to meet and greets with dogs that are around my size. If you have other pets, just plan to bring them along when you do come to meet me. As for kids, while I am very gentle and want nothing more than to sit in your lap and give you kisses, I would do best in a home without kids younger than teenagers. If you do have teens around, go ahead and bring them along when you do come to meet me. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
