About Michi

This little cutie is Michi who is our 3 year old, 12lb Min Pin girl. We rescued Michi when we found out she was living a horrible life of being kept outside 24/7 by her owner who never let in and would just throw food out to her on the dirty ground. She let her roam the streets and didn't care what happened to her and that's when we stepped in. We got this sweet girl to our vet who informed us she had Demodex mange (not contagious) which caused basically from neglect. She had patches of hair missing and a bad odor, but we treated her with antibiotics and weekly medicated baths which she still needs. Michi is an absolute love bug! All she wants to do is be by your side, on your lap, lay with you and cuddle. When we first got her, she was so scared of everything due to never knowing what it was to be inside a home, but she has blossomed and is opening up more everyday. She is still a little nervous, but with patience and lots of love, she will become your best buddy in no time. She still does not walk on a leash and needs backyard practice with that, but honestly she doesn't even need it as long as you have a backyard where she can romp through, which she loves! She really does need another sweet dog in her life that will share a dog bed with her, or she could be adopted with her best friend, Gia, an 18 year old Shih Tzu/Terrier mix. A yard isn't necessary, but note she is not 100% potty trained without a yard. Sweet Michi had such a horrible life, but we promised her that her future will be brighter and that we would find her the perfect forever home! Michi is microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed. We only adopt in Los Angeles and surrounding areas as an in person home check and trial period are required.
