About Alistair

Our sweet guy Alistair needs an immediate foster or adoption home! Alistair is only 2 years old and has probably never had a loving hand or snuggle in his life. He was found in August abandoned, starving, and terrified. Thankfully our rescue was able to save him, but we still need a home for him so he can stop living in a kennel! Alistair had never been around people or other pets before. Before he came to us, we do not think he had ever seen a toy, leash, or been on a walk. Right now our rescue is teaching him that he doesn't have to be scared, and he's has finally started to relax. He has gotten active and played with a few toys! He now knows sit and shake! He needs into a quiet home where he can continue to learn to how to dog! While Alistair has not been tested with other dogs yet, many fear dogs actually do well with other calm, older dogs who can teach them the ropes! If you have another dog, we might be able to work on slow rotations and eventually introductions. Alistair will require a home with a fenced yard so he can continue to learn on a leash and get exercised. If you can open your home and heart to Alistair, please apply below to talk to a volunteer!
