About Maude

I need help a DACC dog I pulled 2 weeks ago . Due to unforeseen circumstances I have to immediately find placement for this dog. Maude, a 90 pound American bulldog mix, 2/3 years old. Spayed and almost done with heartworm treatment. Sweet with people she knows. Potty trained. Not food aggressive. Follows commands and listens and is easily redirected. Loves toys. Sleeps all night in a crate Can be left out of crate. Found abandoned starved and flea bitten. Loves belly rubs. Her only issue is being scared of getting hurt and and she can growl and bark until redirected. Slow intros do work. We have made progress and on wait lists for training but time is of essence as I have no one that can take care of her. Our nonprofit WILL PAY the right person a steepen to adopt her and cover the cost of all training and vetting to make sure she gets her second chance. Thank you. Willing to do anything I can.
