NOVA - ID#A512159 Shelter staff named me NOVA and I am a female, black and white Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old. I weigh approximately 50.40 lbs. I have been at the shelter since Aug 17, 2021 SHELTER PLEA: Nova is a female, about 2 years old, black and white Pit Bull mix. She's looking kind of rough with several old scars around her neck and legs. Nova was one of those neighborhood dogs that her family just couldn't keep her confined. Playful or not, she's a big girl and big dogs scare people. There were kids in Nova's neighborhood and kids who like to ride bikes�'�| did you say squirrel?... more like ankles and feet going round and round. Nova couldn't help herself and she chased a teenager on a bike one time too many. The teenager is good, nothing a band-aide couldn't help but none the less, Nova became too much of a liability for her family and everyone denied owning her�'�| 'she's just some stray'�'�|'She's not mine'�'�| 'I don't know who she belongs to'�'�| Due to Nova's history, she is deemed 'Rescue Only'. Which means only you can save her. She's completed her quarantine and is now ready to go and go she must. We cannot continue to hold on to a pet that is not available for public adoption and owners refuse to claim. Rescue is her only hope and we need to hear from rescue by 5pm, Friday, September 10th. Nova is a sweet girl with people.
