About Buddy

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Looking for a great quality of life for Buddy Buddy is a catahoula leopard dog mix with a brindle coat. He is very sweet, in fact so sweet that I renamed him Rose'bud'. He is cuddly and smart; a good watchdog and a great speed runner! He is smart enough to answer to anything that sounds like Buddy. He is very responsive in the house, and exceptionally well trained in the house. He has a repaired broken hind leg from Hurrican Harvey and he pays no mind to it. He still tries to herd the dogs in the dog park. He takes medication for seizures now, which are the result of stress. He is very intelligent, responsive, a good guard dog, and has been a gift to me. He loves, just loves to run. He is a beautiful sight to behold when he is off lease in the dog park or in a friend's big yard. He does lunge and pull on the lease when his instinct kicks in with rabbits, squirrels, and fast moving bikes. I just had to downsize, lost my yard, and live with more people, bikes, rabbits, and squirrels everywhere. Actually, he even goes after the grasshoppers. It's a poor quality of life for Rosebud without a yard, and it has become a poor quality of life for me too since he pulls and lunges on lease. He needs a place to work and run. This is very difficult but at age 74 I am fearful of falling. He is 45lbs, and a very strong dog. When he steps out the door, his ears perk up and he is very regal. He also would rather ride in the car with me than stay home alone. He is faithful dog; a beautiful dog who needs love and place to run and be happy. Sorry for photo being upside down. This is Rosebud resting alongside my chair as I write this. He just wants to be with his loved person until he gets outside. Please consider him if you have love and space.
