About Barney

Almost Home Foster Kennels is a 501c3 not-for-profit rescue. We are based in SE Minnesota. Our mission is to provide a haven for the voiceless; for those on euthanasia and urgent lists in pounds and shelters. Barney is approximately 19 months of age. Barney was found in a high-kill shelter located in West Virginia. He is a beautiful Tri-colored Beagle. He weighs approximately 26#. He is fully vetted, microchipped, neutered, Heartworm and Tick borne disease negative. Because he was used for bred for hunting, and he isn't very good for he is afraid of loud noises and sudden movements, he was kept outside. House training is a work in progress. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard, a fur-sibling to share his time with; he loves to chase and be chased. Barney is the perfect family pet.
