Meet Graham! He comes to us from the Maricopa County shelter. Just 2 weeks after he was found as a stray he was facing death in an overcrowded shelter. We asked for just a couple days to try to find a foster and were told no, the shelter was at it's brink and no extensions could be given - so we desperately searched, and gratefully found a foster home for him! He is not aggressive, but was definitely scared and under-socialized. He completely shut down in the loud and scary shelter - he wouldn't take treats, wouldn't come towards people and wouldn't walk on a leash, thus they decided he could not be adopted and he was only available to a rescue. We were able very thankfully to find him a foster home so that we could save his life. He had live ticks all over him when we got him that we have since treated, and he has had a bath and met another dog who he just LOVES - he has come out of his shell so amazingly in just 24hrs out of the shelter, we can't wait to see what the future holds for this boy! Bio will be updated as we learn more about this sweet boy - he is still pending basic medical care!
