About Ginger

Meet Ginger! She is a pretty little 7 year old Chihuahua who weighs about 7 pounds. Ginger is as cute as she can be. She's little girl who is full of personality! She is a fairly typical Chihuahua, which means she is cuddly when she wants to be, and sometimes yippy. She was very scared when she first came in and she was a little nippy, but that behavior went away as soon as she got comfortable and settled into her foster home. Ginger is friendly and likes her person. She always wants to be able to see you and follows you everwhere. She loves to sit on your lap. She spins in circles when she's happy or when it's mealtime! At night she prefers to sleep on your pillow. Ginger is not really fond of other dogs, but will tolerate them, however she would be happiest in a home with no other dogs. She has not been around cats since we have had her, but her foster mom does not think she would be good with them based on her habit of running and barking at other dogs. She would not do well in a home with kids. She appears to be housebroken, uses a doggy door to go out, and has not had a single accident in her foster home. Ginger likes to be outside exploring her yard and should have a secure fenced yard. Because of her size, she always needs to be supervised when she is outside. Ginger has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal and heartworm tested, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
