About Macho

FOSTER or ADOPTER needed! Macho is 5 years old and when he was a wee thing, his entire family, including mom, dad, siblings, were pulled from the NYC municipal shelter. He was adopted as a pup, but now his human family is going through struggles and can no longer care for him and is looking for our help to find him a new family. Macho is a BIG boy he's about 95 lbs and tall, but he could lose a few pounds. He is a strong dog who can use some good basic obedience and needs some leash training. Mr. Macho is very food motivated so that is helpful! He would love a fenced yard to run and play and get his energy out. He is good with kids but has not been exposed to many other dogs although he lived peacefully with a female dog in his previous home. He has also met a cat recently, and did ok. He has sensitive skin and suffers from Pyoderma which flares up at times but is managed with meds and coconut oil. Macho is now in a Binghamton, NY temp foster home. He is a good boy, although very confused as to what is going on with this change of circumstances. He is being evaluated as he settles into his temporary placement. However, We desperately want to find a new forever home for Macho, but we will also consider the right long-term foster home as well. If you think you might be a good fit, please reach out to us! All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.
