About Mitzy

Mitzy is a beautiful, full sized Ragdoll mix (about 15 lbs). She loves to play with you if you have a feather wand or catnip. In a new environment, she will hide under the bed. After a stressful experience (like a trip to the vet) she will hide under the bed for about 3 days. She does not like being picked up at all. She loves to sit on top of you and purr and will chat you up all about how hungry she is at the same time twice a day. Her favorite place to relax is a cat tree with a cubby. She's the cave dweller type and needs a small box-like space to feel safe. Mitzy needs a calm environment with lots of appropriate places to climb and scratch. She especially likes to stretch up against a wall and scratch in a vertical position. She was found abandoned in an apartment and had been left alone for several days, possible weeks. When she is especially stressed, she will pull her fur out from her back or base of her tail. This kitty needs a stress free, kid free, dog free, other cat free, long-time committed home with all the spoils.
