About Paige

Paige is a sweet and affectionate, giant lap dog. She loves to play with squeaky�%A0toys and run around in the yard and play fetch or keep away depending on how slick you can be to get the ball back! When she came to us she was fairly overweight�%A0but is fed on a schedule and lives a moderately active lifestyle and has slimmed out beautifully. Paige's owner was originally under the impression she was dog friendly but learned after a few weeks of decompression that she was not. She was reactive to both of the other female dogs along with other animals outside of the home. They have 3 other medium/large dogs and have tried to accommodate Paige for as long as possible including doing two intensive training programs through Sit Means Sit and Puptown Houston. Both programs were extremely beneficial for Paige teaching her obedience, manners, and has significantly decreased her reactivity. After a ton of consideration they have decided to re-home Paige as they still don't think they are able to give her the time to be in continuous training mode if they want her out and about with our other dogs. Paige has been the light of their life and has the best personality. She enjoys walks/runs, rolling in the grass, fetch and car rides. She is very snuggly and loving and has tons of potential to be a well rounded dog. Overall, Paige would make a great addition, as an only dog, to any family with older, respectable children familiar with the breed. Paige is ready to find her new forever home and claim her spot on your bed as soon as possible!
