About Mattie

Courtesy post Mattie weighs 50lbs and is 3-4 years old. She has the cutest underbite, the most unique bark, and just the prettiest hazel eyes we have ever seen. She is crate trained, gets along with dogs big and small, cats are an unknown. Mattie is compliant, but not exactly thrilled to be bathed, and good to have her nails trimmed. She is decent at all of her basic commands (sit, down, stay), and walks well on a leash with minimal corrections. Crate trained, decent off leash recall, and gets along with all dogs, big and small (I have dogs from 95lbs-18lbs). Her only vices, she does need to be reminded not to jump up (also gets very excited with company), and I would be very cautious about cats. She LOVES her people, and could cuddle up with you on the couch all. day. long. (especially if you give her a ball), but she is also game to join you on any adventure you want to take. She makes some very unique noises, similar to a pterodactyl we like to say , and the girl always has her tongue out because of her cute little underbite. She is not bothered by loud noises (ie fireworks), no drama (has 0 interest in joining the occasional squabble within the pack), and when out in public (dog park, etc.) is honestly much more interested in people than she is other dogs. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW-, and microchipped. She is SUCH a great dog, and I would honestly love to keep her. However, she would be such a great dog for ANYONE, and it would be selfish of me to keep her, and not be able to help others.
