About Riley

Beagle
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] This little peanut is Riley. He is 10 years old, up to date on shots & neutered. He is also housetrained. These comments are from his owner.... He loves a good game of tug of war, ripping open his stuffed toys, and using his nose to hunt for hidden treats! Riley loves his people more than anything and always wants to be around them. He is content to be in whatever room you are in, snuggled up against you on the couch, or under your feet at a desk or table. A perfect day for him involves going for a walk or run and cuddling up with you. When his family is home, he is calm, quiet, and content - he is exceptionally cuddly. He's feisty and likes to act tough sometimes, but he's really just clumsy and playful. Riley doesn't really understand fetch and isn't good at catching things so, don't expect him to retrieve and bring the ball back anytime soon. He also likes having his coat combed out / stroked. He likes belly rubs and having his big, floppy ears scratched. No other pets or small children. Riley has epilepsy & is on medication for that. He has a seizure Approx every 45 days. They last 5-7 minutes & he has never lost control of his bowel or bladder. He also has Lupus(SLO) but it only seems to affect his nails. They don't grow & when they do they are brittle. Riley is anxious when left alone so he would do best in a home where someone was home a lot. His anxiety is severe & he is destructive when left alone. A fenced yard is a requirement.
