About Prince

Prince belonged to my neighbor's sons. They moved to a place that does not accept pets. Their mother took the dog but does not want him. He is a gorgeous golden brown with stand up pointy ears. He spends every day outside, even hot days, except when it rains or in winter. She takes good care of him, food and water, even ice cubes, but leaves him out all day. He has begun to mope, laying around all day, and rarely barks at other dogs or people anymore. He is tied up with a plastic covered chain, but has found a way in the last year to break free a couple times. This happened yesterday (August 12, 2021). It was evening, dusk, and he was on their back deck whining. I called to Prince but he would not come to me. This is also extremely RARE. I was about to call warden when my neighbor came home. She does NOT want this dog; she is almost never home and got cameras installed around her house. I can't take him bc I live in an apartment that won't allow pets. Prince is friendly to people he knows, but aggressive to strangers, like a guard dog. He has love in him and I know he can be retrained. I Don't Know for a Fact, but I think my neighbor's sons were training Prince to fight. If some kind person can take Prince, I can arrange things with my neighbor on how to go about it.
