About Sammy

Sammy is a gentle, lovable Lemon Beagle who has been in our family for over 8 1/2 years. He is great with children and adults and loves attention. His date of birth is 10/03/2011. He is white with fading tan spots. Sammy loves everyone and has never been at all aggressive. He loves to go for long walks when it isn't hot outside and he enjoys lying in the sun. Sammy also likes to go for rides in the car or in a golf cart. He is house broken and does not bother furniture or other household items. He loves his Kong when we fill it with peanut butter and kibble. Sammy suffers with separation anxiety so he needs to be placed in his crate if he is to be left alone in the house. He is also afraid of loud noises like fireworks, firearms or thunder. He takes two different medications for his separation anxiety. These prescriptions last for 60 days each. The combined cost for refills is $47. He also needs to have his anal glands expressed by a qualified veterinary tech about every 6-7 weeks. This procedure costs $20. We have two dog collars, three dog beds, a steel crate, a rain jacket, a fleece car seat, a bag of dog treats, a partial bag of dry dog food, several cans of dog food, a container of doggy bags, two leashes and a sweater for Sammy. We will sell the entire ensemble to the right owners for $60. These items total upwards of $250 if you were to purchase them individually. Sammy needs a home where he can romp around outdoors where he will be either on a leash, accompanied by at least one adult, or in an enclosed yard with either a permanent or electric fence.
