About Roux

Roux was born November 2019. She came to us after being abandoned as a 6 week old puppy. We got her an embark DNA test and discovered she is a German Shep, Great Pyre, Rottweiler, Border Collie mix! At almost 24 months old she is 65 lbs. She is an all around great dog. Smart, full of personality (AND ENERGY) and a high drive to please. She has all of her vaccines and is up to date on her rabies. She is a master at fetch and loves to go on runs when weather permits. She is crate trained as well as potty trained. She needs some leash manners as she is reactive to other dogs/people, but she does well when its just her. She knows sit, down and leave it commands as well. Roux does need to be the only dog in the home and is definitely not a 'dog park' type dog. She would also do best with no kids in the home. Roux needs someone who understands she just needs time and patience. She has met and eventually been okay with anyone we bring around our home (friends / family), but it is a process every time. My ideal home for Roux would be an only dog to a single adult / adult couple with no kids, living in a house as she truly does need the yard, whom love to get outside and are just looking for a 4 legged companion to add in.
