About Loki

Yes, we know that Loki is the god of mischief, capable of shape shifting and all sorts of other trickery, but please don't go putting too much stock in a name. Our little Loki is a 2-year-old rat terrier/Chihuahua mix weighing a teeny 8.6 lbs. And the closest to shape shifting he'll ever come is darting about so quickly that it's difficult to photograph him unless he's standing stock still. The few white hairs that grace his nose and chin give him a distinguished, rather than mischievous, look. Our Loki is all about love and fun! Preferred pastimes? Giving you kisses while being held, rolling over on his back so that you can rub his cute tummy, and playing with his toys, carrying them from one place to another. Loki is also great with other dogs (he's had no experience with cats or kids), and he revs up those little legs of his in an effort to keep up with the bigger dogs when they go out for a run in the yard. He's enthusiastic about meals too and will eat right alongside the big guys, even helping them clean their bowls if they have leftovers. Loki is crate trained and house-trained as long as he can go outside at regular intervals, and he's proud to announce that he has just mastered using the dog door in both directions!
