About Thor

Thor is a sweet dog that we inherited when my mother's husband had a stroke earlier this year. Because of the amount of time required to care for both of his parents, we truly didn't have the time to care for him. Now that his mother has passed, we are looking for a good home for him. It's important to know that while Thor is not what I consider 'bad with kids' HOWEVER, he must be trained to respect boundaries. We have set clear boundaries with him and this will need to be reiterated on a consistent basis. He is a dog after all. So, if you drop food, it gone. If a toddler leaves food unintended, it's definitely a goner. He definitely requires training because he was not trained prior to us receiving him as we would find out later. He loves kids and will sleep under them and loves to be outside to play. He has had quite the year. But he's a wonderful addition to any family. The adoption fee is to ensure that he goes to a loving home.
