About Jasper

I'm Jasper. Think of me like the overweight kid with asthma in PE class. I was very sick as a puppy and needed twice daily injections and costly treatments. I am all well now with a clean bill of health. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date with all vaccinations and am ready for my forever home. My earlier illness has made me a little insecure, and I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I love my cat friends, though, and count 3 of them as my besties. I even went through an in-depth 5-week training where I lived with a professional trainer so that I could learn advanced behavior training and walk without pulling and let you tell me how I should behave. Despite this, again, I would prefer to be the only dog in the house. I am a big, 4-year-old boy--again think of the overweight kid that needs lots of motivation to join in on fun and games, but I love to go for walks, and I'll do a couple of zoomies in the back yard before I come panting inside for a nap. I am crate trained, house trained, and follow many commands, such as sit, down, leave it, and will even wait to eat until I am released. My current foster Mom has done all of the hard work to get me healthy and trained, now I just need YOU to take me home and love me.
