Hello you hound lovin' heathens! My name is Hawg the Dawg and I'm here for the party! I'm ready to drink some beer and dance all night and maybe try to take your girlfriend home! Wait a minute...I don't have a home! So maybe you can drink some beers and take me home! I'm a 3.5 year old, purebred, English Coonhound and I'mma be big once I fill out! Maybe 70-75 pounds of pure fun and guaranteed to bring fun and action to your family! I love, love, love people and I want to play, play, play with other dogs! I was a part of a hunting kennel but I got kicked out by the bouncer cause I couldn't tell a bear from a deer. Sue me, I just wanted to chase anything that would run and have a little fun! If you're going to have me at your party, some basic training and lots of exercise is what I'll need to keep me from getting to rowdy! I'm young and engaged and willing to learn and sure to change my rowdy ways! I just need a good role model and some wholesome influence! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
