About Nick

Lab mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

If you are looking for a proper senior gentleman, look no further. Nick is a 7 year old black Labrador mix around 45lbs, who was recently surrendered to The Right to Live Rescue so he could live out his golden years in style. Nick is a very outgoing senior who really enjoys attention. Nick would be best as an only dog in the home. He walks with a limp due to an old injury to his left front and back right paws, but this doesn't slow him down when he wants to meander out in the yards. He is crate trained and does well on a leash with someone that knows how to establish leadership with him. He also LOVES to play in the kiddie pool out in the yard. Could you find it in your heart to open your home up to this senior fellow? All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel.
