Penny is a young, energetic, precious little snuggler who needs a house where she can be exercised frequently and trained with care. Penny is NOT compatible with young children or most dogs. We've had unexpected incidences of aggression between Penny and our very gentle black lab mix when she's approached our four, six, and eight-year-old children with aggressive behavior for no apparent reason. We've worked hard to potty train Penny but she has proven slower than usual at picking up on basic potty training expectations. She sits, knows her name, and walks well on a leash for the most part. She will not come when called unless treats are visible and she can easily jump a 4 foot fence. When adopted, Penny suffered from a uterine infection and an undiagnosed inflammation of her teats. Her teats are diminishing in size and she has now been spayed and treated with antibiotics. Her vaccinations and flea/heartworm treatments are up-to-date.
