Update: I am sorry that my contact information was not corrected on Zeus post when I updated it on the rescue me site. It should not be correct rescueme.org corrected it for me. Zeus is putting on weight nicely and has resumed his normal happy self. Follow up showed he still had a few parasite and that is now being treated. He received his all clear for adoption. Thank you for taking a moment to consider adding Zeus to your family. UPDATE: Zeus is doing well. Starting to put weight back on. And be his silly self. However all my notifications were going to my spam folder. I will be getting back to everyone today. I want to find Zeus the right furever family so please tell me about yourself n your family when you reach out. Thank you Zeus, was from an orphaned litter that I took in and bottle fed. He was adopted out after weaning. However Zeus had to be taken back. He showed some signs of abuse, and lots of signs of neglect. Due to such after being neutered Zeus health went downhill very fast. He is on the mends now and acting every bit of his silly happy self. Zeus will need continued help gaining his weight back. He does have a low grade heart murmur that developed due to his neglect and his illness after being neutered. The doctors do not believe it will be an issue in the future as long as he is properly cared for. This boy is as sweet as they come. While being rushed into the doc's office with 104.9 fever a little boy saw him and wanted to say hi. Now mind you Zeus was so ill he couldn't even walk. I bent down to let the little boy comfort Zeus & instead of the little one comforting Zeus, Zeus places his head on the little boys shoulder to comfort him as his kitty was ill. When this child wrapped his arms around Zeus he leaned his head up and kissed him. This boy ADORES children, however he does get a little to excited as he is still a pup himself. Prior to getting sick Zeus was a healthy weight now unfortunately he is about 25 pounds under weight. A very loving boy who anyone would be fortunate to call him their baby. I am going to add the link to the go fund me only for you to read Zeus story. I believe routine vetting will be most of the future medical bills for Zeus. Maybe the occasional check of blood work. Myself nor the vet feel there should be any lasting issues from his current health condition. Don't miss out on this truly special boy. Crate trained, house trained as long as he is not left alone. If he is left along outside his crate he will only hold it for approx 4-5 hrs. Walks wonderful on the leash, doesn't mind cats although he gets a little to excited to play with them and becomes dangerous to their small size compared to his.
