'Well hello there friends! We are friends right!? Yay!! My name is Ron and I am a 1 year old Border Collie / Hound mix that came to SVASC because I was just a bit too much pup for my elderly owners to handle. Now I would love to find myself an active home to call my own. At just over 1 year old, I have all of the energy! I would really thrive in a home that can help me find an outlet for all of that wonderful energy. I am a very motivated pup and love to learn! I do need some work on my manners, but once again, I am a smart pup and am a real people pleaser, so a little nudge in the right direction, plus some positive reinforcement and I'll be on the right path. I love other dogs and love to play rough. As long as my future pals don't mind that rough and tumble playstyle, we'll be a great match. I have also lived with teenagers and should do fine in that area again. I can be pretty jumpy, so I may be a bit too much for younger kiddos; feel free to bring them along for a meet and greet, though! My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
